Al-Manfi arrives in Algeria to participate in the 7th summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.


The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, arrived today, Friday, in the Algerian capital, to participate in the seventh summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.

At the forefront of his reception at Houari Boumediene Airport was the President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, where an official reception ceremony was held for the President of the Presidential Council, and the national anthem was played for both the State of Libya and Algeria.

Al-Dabaiba participates in the work of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in the Turkish city of Antalya.


The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, participated today, Friday, in the work of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum in its third session, held in the Turkish city of Antalya, in response to the invitation of the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The media office of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government stated that “Dabaiba” held a number of meetings and discussions with a number of heads of state and government participating in the diplomatic forum, in which there were more than 50.

The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, accompanied by the Turkish President and a number of heads of state participating in the forum, also participated in the opening of an exhibition on Gaza held on the sidelines of the forum.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan opened the forum with a speech in which he welcomed the participating delegations from all over the world, stressing the importance of this forum.

Al-Koni meets in Nairobi the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini.


The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini, Raso Miso Dlamini, stressed during his meeting with the representative of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, in Nairobi today, Friday, the importance of developing cooperation relations with Libya in many fields.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini praised the efforts of the Presidential Council aimed at achieving stability in Libya.

For his part, Representative Al-Koni stressed the depth of the relations between Libya and the Kingdom of Eswatini, and the work to develop them in a way that serves the interests of Libya and Eswatini.

Al-Koni meets the Director-General of the World Health Organization in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.


The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Ghebreyesus, confirmed today, Friday, the organization’s continued support for Libya’s efforts to raise the efficiency of the health system and qualify its workers in their various specializations to ensure access to health services and medical care for citizens in various Libyan cities.

This came during a meeting with the representative of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

The Media and Communication Office of the Libyan Presidential Council stated that Al-Koni stressed during the meeting the need for the organization to support Libyan efforts that provide medical services to displaced people from neighboring countries suffering from instability.

He stressed the need to benefit from the organization’s experience in this field, praising the organization’s efforts to strengthen the health system in all countries of the world.

During the meeting, Al-Koni extended to the Director-General of the Organization a
n invitation to visit Libya in a step aimed at enhancing the prospects for cooperation between Libya and the World Health Organization.

Al-Dabaiba signs with the Turkish Minister of Defense a memorandum of understanding on military fields.


The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, signed today, Friday, during his meeting with the Turkish Minister of National Defense, Yasar Guler, in the Turkish city of Antalya, a memorandum of understanding on military fields and raising the efficiency of Libyan army units through specific training programs.

The media office of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government stated that ‘Al-Dabaiba’ stressed during the meeting, which came to follow up aspects of military cooperation between the two countries, that developing cooperation between the Chief of General Staff and the Turkish Ministry of Defense is a priority and of great importance, as well as implementing advanced training programs to raise the efficiency of Libyan army personnel.

For his part, Turkish Defense Minister Guler praised the cooperation between his country and the unity government in the military and security field, stressing the continuation of this coordination and cooperation between the two
sides.

He pointed out that he is witnessing progress and organization in all aspects.

The Council of State and the House of Representatives sign minutes of agreement in Tunisia


Members of the Council of State and Parliament meeting in Tunisia signed a minutes of agreement calling for renewed commitment to the electoral laws implemented through the 6+6 Committee and the formation of a new national government that works to achieve the electoral entitlement.

The agreement stressed the need to respect Libyan ownership of the political process and choose the head of the new government through a transparent and fair mechanism, by consensus between the two councils and under the auspices of the UN mission.

The agreement also called on the National Elections Commission to begin implementing electoral laws and to demand that it announce the date of holding the elections.

The agreement included emphasizing the seriousness of what was stated in the Central Bank’s report on the extent of inflation in spending, especially support, expenses, and funding from unknown sources, and the necessity of forming an investigation committee into this and setting binding controls and legislation for the
next government to ensure the fight against centralization, support of local units, and the allocations reach directly to the municipalities.
