Hajjah: Campaign to control prices and verify units of measurement


The Office of Industry and Trade and the branch of the Yemeni Standardization Organization in Hajjah province implemented a campaign to control prices and verify the measuring, weight and measuring tools used in the buying and selling process.

Director of the province’s Industry Office, Mahmoud Wahban, explained that the campaign comes within the plans and programs of the local authority and the Industry Office during the holy month of Ramadan.

He stressed the keenness to continue the price control campaign , review the food supply situation, not to be complacent in arresting violators and taking action against them.

Meanwhile, Director of the Standards Authority branch, Ali Al-Hajjaji, indicated that the field visit aims to verify the measuring tools used in meat , fish stores , their conformity with the approved standard specifications, and to reduce fraud and manipulation.

He called for adherence to the specifications and standards in the scales, stressing that measures will be taken against violators
and the confiscation of non-compliant scales whose use is prohibited.

Minister of Transportation affirms the return of Turkish Airlines flights to and from Mitiga Airport.

Tripoli: Minister of Transportation, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, affirmed the return of Turkish Airlines flights to and from Mitiga Airport next week, with its flights to the rest of the Libyan airports resuming successively.

Through the HAKOMITNA platform, he stated yesterday that the return of flights came after signing two memorandum of understanding between the Civil Aviation Authority and Turkish Airlines and the fulfillment of all technical requirements.

Industry Office in Sa’ada launches campaign to control consumer prices


The Office of Industry and Trade in Sa’ada province, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, launched a field monitoring campaign on prices and the rationing situation to protect the consumer.

During the inauguration of the campaign, the province’s Undersecretary for Environmental Affairs, Cleanliness and Improvement, Muhammad Al-Baadani, along with the Director of the province’s Industry Office, Khaled Al-Dhiban, and Saleh Bashir, on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were briefed on the performance of the work of the oversight teams and committees affiliated with the Industry Office, and the level of implementation of the tasks assigned to them during the holy month of Ramadan to maintain commodity and supply stability and control violators.

The Province Undersecretary appreciated the efforts of the Industry Office and the field teams that carry out daily monitoring work within the framework of the Ramadan plan to achieve stability in the province’s markets.

He stressed the
necessity of strengthening oversight efforts related to the process of boycotting American-Israeli goods and verifying the selling stores and the extent to which they are free of these goods in translation of the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council to support the Palestinian people.

While the Director of the Industry Office, Al-Dhiban, explained that the campaign is part of the office’s activities during the holy month of Ramadan.

He stressed the continuation of the campaign to monitor prices and food conditions until the end of the month of Ramadan and during the days of Eid al-Fitr.

Al-Dhiban stressed the need for the committees to carry out their role and not be complacent in arresting violators and taking legal measures against violators.

Sana’a local authority discusses projects implementation


Sana’a local authority on Sunday held a meeting, chaired by Governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi, that discussed issues and requirements to improve development performance in the governorate.

The meeting dealt with offers and demands presented by some offices pertaining a number of service projects.

The authority approved additional, new and amended works to contractual quantities in several constructional projects.

The authority also approved a mechanism to prepare industrial areas located in Snhan and Bani Bahlool districts.

GPC condemns American aggression and supports any steps to respond


The General Secretariat of the General People’s Congress( GPC) strongly condemned the raids of the American-British aggression on the capital, Sana’a, and a number of provinces on Friday.

The General Secretariat of the Congress confirmed in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the American attacks are a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen, , a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter , all international norms and conventions that prohibit and criminalize the launching of any aggression by one country against another.

It pointed out that the American airstrikes targeting places previously targeted by the aggression coalition during the past years are evidence of the failure of Washington and those who ally with it and support its position in support of the Zionist entity to achieve any achievement other than terrorizing safe citizens in their houses.

The General Secretariat of the Congress considered the American airstrikes a miserable attempt to press
ure Sana’a to stop its support , advocacy for the Palestinians and the residents of the Gaza Strip who are subjected to a war of extermination by the Zionist enemy, which will not be achieved for them.

It stressed that the Yemeni people and their leadership will continue with their principled , steadfast position in supporting and advocating for Palestine its people as a religious, moral and humanitarian duty.

It renewed the General People’s Congress’s blessing for the measures implemented by the Yemeni armed forces to support Palestine, and its support for any steps to respond to the American aggression against Yemen, considering this a right guaranteed by all international conventions and norms.
