Amanat Al-Asimah warns of tires burning dangers on public streets


The Capital Municipality warned of the dangers of burning tires in neighborhoods and public streets with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan.

The executive director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund at the municipality, Muhammad Sharaf al-Din, confirmed to the Saba that burning tires is a negative phenomenon, causing environmental pollution and harming the health of society.

He called on citizens to cooperate with the concerned authorities to prevent this phenomenon, and to spread community awareness of the dangers of burning tires, and the need to preserve the capital’s environment.

Public Prosecutor’s Office: Freeing a kidnapped child in Zliten, and arresting the kidnapper.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office announced the release of a 4-year-old kidnapped child in Zliten and the arrest of the perpetrator who demanded a ransom of (100) thousand dollars.

The office explained in a publication that after the investigating authority received news of the kidnapping of the four-year-old child (D.A.) for the purpose of forcing his family to pay a financial ransom of one hundred thousand dollars, the Information and Communications Affairs Control Section, in the Attorney General’s Office, assumed responsibility for strengthening the procedures, the inferences that led technical support work to identify the perpetrator.

The office indicated that members of the police force, Zliten Criminal Investigation Department, were able to arrest the perpetrator and free the child victim.

Dr. Bin Habtoor congratulates President Al-Mashat on advent of blessed month of Ramadan


Caretaker Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh Bin Habtoor sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, by the blessed month of Ramadan 1445 AH, stating:

It is also my pleasure to congratulate through you the heroes of our armed and security forces, who are celebrating the holy month for the ninth year in a row, as they are stationed on the fronts and in various locations and cities to defend the homeland, secure internal security and maintain the tranquility of society, in conjunction with the air and naval forces carrying out their religious, humanitarian
and moral duty in support of the Palestinian people in besieged Gaza.

The start of a dialogue session between the Libyan parties at the Arab League’s under the auspices of Aboul Gheit.

At the headquarters of the League of Arab States, a dialogue session began today between the Libyan parties, invited by Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit and including the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ageela Saleh, and the Head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, with the aim of facilitating Libyan-Libyan dialogue.

The official spokesman for the Secretary-General, Jamal Rushdi, said in a press statement that this invitation comes as a sense of the Arab League’s inherent responsibilities towards this important Arab country and at this precise time.

“This meeting is an effort to get Libya out of its long-standing crisis, whose burdens and consequences have increased on the Libyan citizen, who today looks to his politicians to get out of this stifling situation by neutralizing narrow interests and putting the country’s higher interests above any considerations.” He added

The Speaker of the Shura Council, Mohammed Al-Aidarous, congratulated the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan 1445 AH.

The Speaker of the Shura Council, on his behalf and on behalf of the Presidency, members and employees of the Shura Council, expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings on this solemn religious occasion, which coincides with the approaching anniversary of the National Day of Steadfastness.

He pointed out that despite the suffering experienced by the Yemeni people as a result of the siege and aggression, they were able, thanks to God and the wise leadership, to stand tall and proud to tell the whole world that the Palestinian people are not alone in their confrontation against the Zionist war.

El-Kabeer discusses in Paris the opportunities available for French companies to work in Libya.

the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Siddiq El-Kabeer, discussed in Paris with the Executive Director of the International Movement of French Companies, Philippe Gautier, the opportunities available for French companies to work in Libya.

According to the CBL, the meeting, which was held on Friday at the Foundation’s headquarters in Paris, was attended by the French Ambassador to Libya, Mostafa Mihraje, and a number of French companies, institutions, and ministries.

The two sides discussed the opportunities available for French companies to work in Libya and the importance of working to diversify sources of income, encourage the private sector, support the National Oil Corporation and the General Electricity Company, open the way for renewable energies, and develop the health, water, and sanitation sectors.
