Ismahan Baloun, in a statement to (LANA): The UN mission is adopting a new approach.

Member of Parliament, Ismahan Baloun, considered that the United Nations Mission in Libya, led by “Abdullah Batili”, is adopting a new approach.

Baloun said in a statement to the Libyan News Agency that the international community, led by the United States of America, will not agree to change the government of national unity headed by Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba, which was chosen under the auspices of the United Nations in Geneva before the election laws were issued.

Baloun explained that any procedures for choosing a new government will not be the same as before, pointing out that the new procedures for choosing a new government have reached a dead end.

She indicated that if the House of Representatives and the state insisted on choosing a new government, its fate would be similar to that of the government headed by Fathi Bashagha.

She stressed that the new government will not be able to enter the capital, Tripoli, and will rule from the east of the country without international legitimacy, saying, “This is what we do not want.”

And “Baloun” ruled out that the House of Representatives and the state would form a new government without regard to the approval of the superpower, out of concern for international legitimacy and a guarantee of not returning to square one, she said.
