Bahrain wins Best Office for Pilgrims’ Affairs award

Bahrain has won the award for the best office for pilgrims’ affairs, among three countries that received the highest satisfaction rate from their pilgrims for the Hajj season 1444, as part of “Labbaytum” Award granted by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Saudi Arabia.

Nawaf bin Mohammad Al Maawda, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, said that this honouring comes to embody the great care for the pilgrims, which His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has insisted on.

The minister noted the support for the committee received from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

This announcement came during the closing ceremony held by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in honour of government and private sectors for their great efforts in completing successfully the Hajj season this year.

Al Maawda affirmed that this achievement is the result of the concerted efforts of all the committees of Bahrain’s Hajj mission headed by Shaikh Adnan bin Abdullah Al Qattan, and the services provided by all its members for Bahraini pilgrims and providing them with means of comfort and safety.
