President Al-Mashat chairs meeting of Supreme Committee for National Vision Management and approves state’s general annual plan

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council – Head of the Supreme Committee for the National Vision Management today chaired a meeting of the Supreme Committee.

During the meeting, they reviewed the report submitted by the Executive Office of the National Vision Department regarding the strategic plan, its contents, and the most important objectives that it focused on within the framework of the vision’s interim plan.

The level of implementation of the plans for the Hijri year 1444 was also reviewed, as well as the level of performance of sectors and agencies.

He directed the adoption of the state’s general annual plan for the current year 1445 AH, stressing the importance of working in a team spirit to overcome the challenges facing the progress of work in light of the continuation of the aggression and siege for eight years.

President Al-Mashat praised the efforts made and the remarkable improvement in the level of planning and adherence to the set deadlines, stressing that the nation’s rise will only be achieved through the integration of the efforts of its people and the activation of the role of institutions according to projects, programs and a clear strategic vision.

He pointed out that the aim of scrutinizing the planning process is to start from reality and absorb the available capabilities to provide service to citizens as it should in a smooth and accessible manner.

PM receives copy of Encyclopedia of Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration

The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, received a copy of the Encyclopedia of Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration, which was completed by a group of Yemeni researchers and consists of nine parts.

That came during his meeting today with the President of Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development, Jamal Omar, and the Director of the Foundation, Sadiq Al-Jami’, who handed him the copy, in the presence of a member of the Shura Council, Dr.Amr Maad Yakreb, Advisor to Prime Minister Jamal Al-Hadrami, and Advisor to Minister of Expatriate Affairs, Al-Ezzi Al-Selwi.

He pointed out that the Foundation is in the process of translating the encyclopedia into English at a time when it is preparing to conduct a study on brain drain and Yemeni capital in the modern era and its negative effects on the course of construction and development in Yemen.

Events Committee calls for angry march condemning crime of burning Holy Qur’an

The Events Organizing Committee called for mass exit and wide participation tomorrow afternoon, Monday, in an angry march to denounce the crime of burning copies of the Noble Qur’an.

The organizing committee, in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), identified Bab Al-Yemen Square in the capital, Sana’a, as a place for mass outings to condemn this crime, which the West intends to provoke the feelings of Muslims around the world.

KSrelief Distributes 560 Food Baskets in Sudan

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 560 food baskets in Gezira State, the Republic of Sudan, benefiting 5,513 people.

KSrelief Distributes 4,971 Food Baskets in Mauritania

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed on Friday 4,971 food baskets to the most vulnerable families in Nouakchott, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, benefiting a total of 13,389 individuals.

This assistance is part of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to support affected countries and populations worldwide.

KSrelief Assistant Supervisor Meets with Regional Director of UN Development Coordination Office for Arab States

The Assistant Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) for Operations and Programs, Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, met today at the KSrelief’s headquarters in Riyadh, with the Regional Director of the UN Development Coordination Office for the Arab States, Barbara Manzi.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for cooperation and coordination in supporting the neediest groups in the affected countries, as well as various issues of shared interest related to relief and development affairs.

Manzi appreciated the projects offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the KSrelief, praising the ongoing efforts made by the KSrelief in various countries to improve the living conditions of people in multiple fields.
