WHY ROSEN LAW: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Many of these firms do not actually handle securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs’ Bar. Many of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers.

DETAILS OF THE CASE: According to the lawsuit, defendants throughout the Class Period made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Atlas Lithium overstated the success of its lithium mining and misrepresented the nature of its Brazilian mineral rights; (2) in connection with these misrepresentations, Atlas Lithium conducted deceptive promotions to artificially inflate the value of the Company’s stock; (3) the foregoing conduct was designed to allow its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other Company insiders to sell shares back into the market for a profit before the true nature of Atlas Lithium’s business was revealed; and (4) as a result, defendants’ public statements were materially false and/or misleading at all relevant times. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

Al-Hawri commends Yemeni activists role abroad to highlight injustice and victories of Yemeni people

Secretary of the Supreme Political Council – Responsible for the Relations and Foreign Policy Sector, Dr. Yasser Al-Hawri, praised the role of free Yemeni activists, human rights activists and media professionals in the expatriate community in highlighting the grievances of the Yemeni people to international public opinion.

Dr. Al-Hawri explained during today’s meeting, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Hisham Sharaf, and the Deputy Minister of Expatriate Affairs, Zayed Al-Riyami, which included a number of active activists in the expatriate community, that the efforts made by the activists had a positive impact in revealing the scale of the crimes of aggression against the people of Yemen and their suffering as a result of the blockade imposed on them.

He urged activists to unite efforts on the external front and strengthen their work mechanisms to highlight the victories of the Yemeni people after steadfastness for more than eight years, which showed the extent of the people’s support for the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council.

Al-Hawri put the activists in the picture of the position of the Supreme Political Council and the Salvation Government during the current stage, and Sana’a’s repeated calls for a brave and just peace and the procrastination of the aggression coalition in assuming its responsibilities to get out of the Yemeni file.

He pointed to the wisdom of the leadership in managing the file of political negotiations in a way that preserves Yemen’s sovereignty and meets the benefits of its continuous steadfastness for more than eight years.

He pointed out that the Supreme Political Council and the Salvation Government, despite the aggression and siege, are taking serious steps to preserve the state’s apparatus and institutions and rebuild them according to the national vision for building a modern state that enhances the victories achieved by the army’s heroes in positions of pride and dignity. He called on activists to highlight these victories and achievements in State building.

For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the ministry’s encouragement of jurists and media professionals abroad, praising their efforts, which highlighted the extent of their love for their country without any partisan or regional considerations.

He pointed out that such anti-aggression activities have strengthened the ministry’s efforts and external contacts to serve the interests of the Yemeni people.

In turn, the Deputy Minister of Expatriate Affairs reviewed the suffering of the Yemeni people, especially expatriates, who number more than 14 million expatriates in various countries of the world as a result of the aggression and siege on Yemen.

And he stated that the aggression was and still is seeking to impose guardianship on the Yemeni people and control their political decision, appreciating the role of free people in the diaspora, including human rights activists and media professionals, in highlighting the grievances of the Yemeni people.

In the meeting, which included the head of the external communication team, Dr. Ahmed Al-Imad, and a number of team members, the activists gave a brief presentation about their activities and efforts in expatriate countries to uncover crimes of aggression against civilians, women and children in various provinces.

They reviewed the difficulties they faced during organizing events and awareness campaigns that they implemented in America, Europe and Russia, through which they called on the international community and decision-makers to take action to prevent the export of weapons to the countries of aggression and to address the injustice to which the people of Yemen are exposed.

The meeting stressed the need to unite and integrate efforts and joint work to triumph over the grievances of the Yemeni people, highlight their achievements in all fields, continue to expose the crimes of aggression and put pressure on the international community to carry out its duties towards stopping the aggression and lifting the blockade.
