Dimensions of Zionist Arab conflict at symposium at Ibb University

The Faculty of Applied Sciences and Student Forum of Ibb University organized today a scientific symposium entitled “Dimensions of the Zionist Arab Conflict”.

At the symposium, the Rector of the University, Dr. Nasr Al-Hajili, stressed the importance of holding these awareness-raising cultural events in conjunction with the anniversary of the wilaya day, which contribute to promoting the values of faith identity aimed at fortifying the youth of the nation and enabling them to confront the soft war aimed at imposing a reality full of value and moral dissolution and keeping young people away from the Islamic nation’s flags, symbols and constants.

In the working paper presented by Dr. Souad al-Shami, she reviewed the dimensions of the Zionist Arab conflict and the conspiracies emulated by the forces of global enlargement in order to control the nation’s abilities and the minds of its youth.

The symposium was enriched by interventions and discussions, in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Falahi, the Secretary-General of the University, Abdulmalek Al-Saqaf, the deans of colleges and a constellation of academics, administrators and students.

Makkah Police Arrests 2 Individuals Attempting to Sell Hashish

Makkah Police has arrested two Ethiopian nationals attempting to sell 3 kilograms of hashish. Legal procedures were followed, the two were arrested and referred to the pertinent authority.

Saudi Chemistry Team participates in International Chemistry Olympiad 2023 in Switzerland

The Saudi Chemistry Team left today for Switzerland to participate in the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO, 2023) competition, which will be held in Zurich from 16 to 25 July 2023, with the support of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” and the Ministry of Education.

At the end of the Olympiad, the IChO flag will be handed over to Saudi Arabia as the event host next year 2024, in its 56th edition, scheduled to take place from July 22 to August 1, 2024, in Riyadh.

Saudi Arabia has a balance of awards garnered through the Kingdom’s participation in previous editions, which included ten silver, 25 bronze, and two certificates of appreciation.

Jazan Border Guard Patrols Thwart Attempt to Smuggle 70 Kg of Khat

Border Guard patrols in Al-Ardah Governorate, in Jazan Region, have thwarted an attempt to smuggle 70 kg of khat. Legal action was taken and the confiscated contraband was handed over to the pertinent authority.

Palestinian Wounded as Occupation Forces Strom Nablus

A Palestinian was wounded by live bullets after the Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus on Sunday.

According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), the occupation forces stormed the town of Tell, south of Nablus city, and fired live bullets and tear gas canisters, wounding one Palestinian in the shoulder.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces arrested three Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes.

The Israeli occupation forces have stepped up their aggression in the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank in recent weeks, increasing the pace of incursions into Palestinian towns and cities, and the arrests against youth and activists.
