American-Saudi aggression crimes on May 14

The US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted populated areas in a number of provinces, leaving killings, great destruction to public and private property.

On May 14, 2015, nine citizens were killed as a result of the bombing of an Apache helicopter belonging to the aggression on a car that was carrying them in Al-Safia area, Al-Dhaher district in Sa’ada province.

The Saudi army created military sites in the border areas and targeted Al-Manzala area with tank shells. It also targeted the border areas of Al-Jabal Al-Ahmar and Al-Barm at a rate of 12 and 14.

The bombing of the border areas with Apache planes, tanks, and machine guns from the direction of Al-Ma’ayin, and targeted the areas of Shada Triangle, Baqem district, Al-Zahir, Al-Baqi’, Al-Tabba Al-Hamra, and Al-Qurm at a rate of 23.

On May 14, 2016, the aggression warplanes launched a raid on Al-Saqiya area in Al-Masloub district in Al-Jawf province, while the mercenaries targeted with artillery the Al-Moton district in the province.

The aggression mercenaries bombed the Dhubab district in Taiz province with artillery, and with missiles and artillery Usailan district in Shabwa province.

The mercenaries targeted, with artillery and missiles, the areas of Bani Bariq and Mubda’a in Nehm district of Sana’a province, while the warplanes launched a raid on Al-Arqoub area in the Khawlan Al-Tayyal district in the same province.

On May 14, 2017, the aggression launched two raids on Jabal Dain in Hamdan district of Sana’a province, which caused damage to the citizens’ property. It also launched a raid on Serwah district in Marib province, and a raid on Al-Barah area in Maqbana district, and a raid north of Khalid’s camp in Mawza’a district of Taiz province, and targeted Haradh city in Hajjah province.

On May 14, 2018, the aggression warplanes launched a raid on Al-Madfun area in Nehm district of Sana’a province, and two raids on Qifah area in Al-Bayda province, and 20 raids on Al-Mahathir area in Sahar district of Sa’ada province.

On May 14, 2019, a citizen was killed by Saudi border guard fire in Al-Raqou area of Munabeh border district in Sa’ada province.

The aggression launched 17 raids on Abs district in Hajjah province, and three raids on Al-Adi area on outskirts of Harf Sufyan district in Amran province, and it also launched two raids west of Najd Al-Faris in Najran.

The aggression mercenaries fired more than 40 artilleries, with heavy machine guns, on village of Al-Shajn and its vicinity on the outskirts of Al-Durayhimi in Al-Hodeida province.

The mercenaries also bombed with 11 artillery shells and heavy and medium machine guns Hodeida Airport and its adjacent areas, Al-Dhabyani neighborhood, and towards the Union Hotel in the 7th of July residential area.

The mercenaries carried out an intensive sweep with medium and heavy machine guns on different areas and neighborhoods in Al-Khamseen Street in Al-Hodeida.

On May 14, 2021, the aggression warplanes launched eight airstrikes on Serwah district, two raids on Medghal district in Marib, and also launched a raid on the Al-Dhahra area in Khab Washa`af district in Al-Jawf province.

In Al-Hodeidah province, the spy warplanes dropped bombs on Al-Jabalia area of Al-Tuhaita district, while the mercenaries bombed many areas in the province with artillery and various gunshots.

On May 14, 2022, the aggression mercenaries carried out an infiltration operation towards an area to be known in Raghwan, Marib province, and they targeted, with artillery shell, Rawdat al-Jahannam, al-Dushush and al-Balq in Marib, al-Mazraq and Muthalith Aahim in Hajjah.

The aggression mercenaries of the also targeted artillery shells and cemeteries in Sa’ada province, and fired at citizens’ houses and separate locations in Marib, Hajjah, Sa’ada and Al-Dhale’, and bombed with 31 artillery shells and various gunshots different areas in Al-Hodeida province, while the spy planes launched two raids on Hays.

KALLAS CONGRATULATES LEBANON’S ICE HOCKEY NATIONAL TEAM ON WINNING ARAB CHAMPIONSHIP

Caretaker Minister of Youth and Sports, George Kallas, contacted today the President of the Lebanese Ice Hockey Federation, Charles El Meer, to congratulate the Lebanese national team on winning the Arab Championship hosted by Kuwait. Kallas praised “the professional atmosphere that the team reflected in terms of form and performance, and the successive victories it achieved over the teams of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, and finally Kuwait in the finals.” He also hailed “the Lebanese public who made the players feel that they are on their land, and the commendable efforts made by the federation.” Kallas congratulated sisterly Kuwait for the prestigious organization and hosting of the Championship.

With The Participation Of Iraq.. The First Arab Regional Meeting Of The International Council On Books For Young People Held In Sharjah

Sharjah hosted in the “House of Wisdom” the first Arab regional meeting of the International Council on Books for Young People, organized by the “Emirati Council on Books for Young People”, with the participation of 10 Arab countries, with the aim of expanding the Arab presence in the “International Council on Books for Young People”.

The meeting aims to enhance Arab representation in the International Council on Books for Young People, and to acquaint its participants, especially from non-member countries of the International Council, with the goals and vision of the International Council on Books for Young People, and its activities and initiatives in promoting and developing children and youth literature at the global level, and the member states. The meeting also embodies the pioneering efforts of the UAE Council on Books for Young People to enhance the Arab presence in the International Council on Books for Young People, as it cooperated with the International Council, and communicated with the ministries of culture and specialized institutions in a number of Arab countries, to coordinate the participation of their representatives in the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Marwa Obaid Al-Aqroubi, President of the UAE Board on Books for Young People, in the presence of Carolina Pallister, Executive Director of the International Council on Books for Young People, and representatives of the Arab councils that are members of the “International Council on Books for Young People,” which included Nadia El-Khouly, representative of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Hadeel Miqdadi, representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Sherine Kreidieh, representative of the Lebanese Republic, and a number of participants from Arab countries looking to join the International Council, and members of the Advisory Board of the UAE Council on Books for Young People.

In addition to the representatives of the Arab member states, the meeting was attended by representatives of 7 Arab countries, namely: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, and the Sultanate of Oman, in a move that reflects the commitment of these countries to support the children’s and youth book industry in the Arab region, and to achieve the vision of « The International Board on Books for Young People »in providing high-quality books to children and young people all over the world.

The Youth And Sports Conference Kicks Off In Baghdad

The activities of the General Conference for Youth and Sports kicked off in the capital, Baghdad, today, Sunday, under the auspices of Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani, under the slogan (Challenges of the Age and Future Prospects), and it will last for two days.

The conference, in which specialized academics participate, is concerned with the youth and sports reality in Iraq.

Economist: Relying On One Revenue And The Lack Of Diversification Will Lead To The End Of The Multi-Economy

The economic expert, Abdul Hassan Al-Shammari, confirmed: The continuity of reliance on one revenue and the lack of diversification will lead to the end of the multi-economy.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: The country has been witnessing, for a while, investment in one line, which is housing, indicating that despite the need for that, it is not possible to continue to grant housing investment licenses and leave other sectors.

Al-Shammari added: The country needs to invest in the establishment of hundreds of factories, some are halted for long time, to diversify revenues.

He stressed the need to grant soft investment licenses in accordance with the law to rehabilitate factories and laboratories and employ thousands of graduates and other manpower, which will supply the budget with new revenues that reduce dependence on a single revenue
