- Minister of Justice of the Government of National Unity, Halima Al-Bousaifi, discussed today, Wednesday, with the President of the Algerian Constitutional Court, Omar Belhaj, prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of constitutional justice.
This came during the minister's meeting with the President of the Constitutional Court on the sidelines of her official visit to Algeria within the framework of strengthening consultation and cooperation relations, exchanging experiences and visits between the two countries, especially in the fields of justice and constitutional judiciary.
Yesterday, the Minister of Justice met with her Algerian counterpart and discussed with him bilateral files and aspects of relations and cooperation in the judicial, and legal fields, and reviewed the agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them, including the exchange of convicts in joint criminal cases.
The talks dealt with discussing the exchange of experiences, expertise, training and postgraduate studies to raise the efficiency and capabilities of members of the judicial bodies, reform and rehabilitation institutions and prison administration in Libya.
