GNU Prime Minister Stresses Need for Taking Shots in accordance with administrative and legal procedures.

Tripoli, The Head of Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba has stressed the need for a mandatory plan for vaccinations against the Coronavirus pandemic, to be submitted through administrative and legal procedures binding for all citizens.

This came during a meeting Al Dbeiba held on Monday at the Cabinet Office in the capital, Tripoli, with the director and deputy director of the National Center for Disease Control NCDC, in the presence of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, according to Government SMS page.

He also stressed need for an awareness campaign to be accompanying the vaccination, and to address the difficulties faced by citizens to obtain the vaccination.

The Prime Minister called for the issuance of the electronic application and electronic cards for the vaccinated in accordance with international standards, that would help citizens in movement and travel as well as the establishment of a sound electronic database.

Al-Dabaiba stressed the need for attention to be paid to combating other diseases such as “tuberculosis and hepatitis” and other diseases, as they are among the center’s specialties.

For his part, the Director of NCDC said during the meeting that the center would be strict in implementing the vaccination plan, after the arrival of 3 million new doses, which makes it mandatory for all citizens.
