Bybit Announces Participation in ETHMilan, Elevating the Conversation on the Future of Web3

Qatar, Iran Discuss Reinforcing Cooperation in Free Zones, Investment

HE Minister of State and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Free Zones Authority in Qatar, Ahmad bin Mohammed Al Sayed, met on Wednesday with HE Advisor to the Iranian President and Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hojjatullah Abdul Maliki, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting held at Business Innovation Park at Ras Bufontas area, they discussed reinforcing cooperation and sharing expertise between the two countries in free zones and investment.

Following the meeting, they toured the Free Zones at Ras Bufontas and Umm Alhoul Free Zone

Social Affairs Ministry : The so-called “Professional Syndicate Club” is an entity that violates the constitution and laws

Social Affairs and Labor Ministry announced that the so-called “Professional Union Club” is an entity that violates the Constitution and the applicable trade union laws, as well as the Arab and international agreements regarding trade union freedoms and protecting the right to organize trade unions, which were ratified by the Republic of Yemen.

The Ministry confirmed in a statement, a copy of which was carried by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the so-called Professional Syndicates Club does not exist and is not legally registered with the Ministry and is therefore illegal and has no right to issue any statement.

The Ministry held responsible those who issued a statement under the name of the aforementioned club, stressing that it reserves the right to file a lawsuit against them to hold them accountable and take legal measures to punish them for this action that violates the Constitution, the applicable trade union laws,the Arab, international agreements and charters that our country has ratified.

The European Mission in Libya announces its joining of the supporting countries to establish a unified Libyan mechanism for the reconstruction of the affected areas.

The European Union mission to Libya announced its joining the diplomatic missions of the member states of the Union; Regarding the establishment of a unified Libyan mechanism to respond to floods in the east of the country.In a statement on its website, the mission expressed its strong support for the call of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to establish a unified Libyan national mechanism to respond to the devastating floods in eastern Libya, and urged Libyan leaders to agree on such a mechanism in support of the Libyan people.The European mission stressed the need to coordinate this mechanism with local, national and international partners to guide transparent, rights-based and accountable relief efforts and address post-disaster reconstruction needs

Interior Minister receives GCC Assistant Secretary General for Security Affairs

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Interior Minister, received Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, GCC Assistant Secretary- General for Security Affairs.

The meeting reviewed security cooperation.

The minister commended the role of the GCC General Secretariat in supporting security cooperation and implementing the resolutions of the GCC countries’ leaders.

Tariq bin Hasan Al Hasan, Chief of Public Security, and Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Ministry of Interior Undersecretary, attended the meeting.

HM King Mohammed VI announces FIFA’s endorsement of Morocco-Spain-Portugal bid to host 2030 World Cup

His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco announced that the FIFA Executive Committee has unanimously selected the Morocco-Spain-Portugal bid as the sole candidate to organise the 2030 Football World Cup.

“This decision by the Executive Committee of the International Association Football Federation commends and recognises Morocco’s key position in the concert of great nations,” a statement by the Royal Office said.

HM King Mohammed VI congratulated the Kingdom of Spain and the Republic of Portugal, while reiterating the Kingdom of Morocco’s commitment to working in perfect synergy with the authorities in charge of the bid in each of the host countries.
