Agriculture Minister and head of Investment Authority sign checklists for agricultural production inputs

Agriculture Minister and Irrigation in the caretaker government, Engineer Abdul Malik Al-Thawr, and the Chairman of the General Investment Authority, Yasser Al-Mansour, signed today the checklists for fixed assets and agricultural production inputs.

Engineer Al-Thawr stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership, as it would advance the agricultural sector, support and encourage investors in the agricultural field, both plant and animal.

The signing was attended by Vice President of the General Investment Authority, Khaled Sharaf Al-Din, Head of the Projects Sector, Engineer Muhammad Al-Farzai, and Head of the Facilities Sector, Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Mahbashi.

Human Rights Office in Sa’ada condemns Saudi army attacks escalation on border areas

The Human Rights Office in Sa’ada province today condemned the escalation of brutal, criminal and continuing attacks by the Saudi army on civilians in the border districts of the province, which today, Sunday, left three martyrs and more than five wounded.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office denounced the Saudi deliberate targeting of civilians with artillery shell, committing war crimes against humanity.

The office held the international community, led by the Security Council, the United Nations, international organizations, legally and morally responsible for these brutal crimes that have been continuing for decades.

Al-Sami’i receives encyclopedia studying “The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration” copy

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Sultan Al-Sami, received a copy of the comprehensive encyclopedia of the study “The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration,” prepared by Al-Khair Foundation for Global Development.

The Supreme Political Member, Al-Sami, heard from the director of the institution, Sadiq Al-Jamai, an explanation of the efforts that were made to complete the comprehensive encyclopedia and the stages of its preparation, which lasted for nearly two years, exceeding 65 meetings, and was divided into two parts, “theoretical and field,” targeting Southeast Asia, East Africa, Europe, the United States of America, Canada, and Gulf countries.

Al-Jamai pointed out that the study sought to highlight the role and influence of Yemeni immigrants in diaspora countries in various fields, in addition to touching on the reasons behind Yemeni immigration throughout history.

He pointed out that the expansion aims to bridge contemporary communication with immigrants to introduce the identity and status of the Yemeni immigrant in the past, present, and future.

Al-Samaie appreciated the efforts of Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development and businessman Alwan Saeed Al-Shaibani in preparing the study, which represents a national project that reflects the cultural role of Yemeni immigrants in countries of diaspora and expatriation in Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe and America.

Aggression commits 126 violations in Hodeida in 24 hours

The aggression forces committed 126 violations of the ceasefire agreement in Hodeida province over the past 24 hours, an official at the operations room to monitor the violations said on Sunday.

The official in the operations room told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that among the aggression forces violations were five spy warplanes’ raids on Hays , Maqbanah, and the creation of combat fortifications in al-Jabaliya and Hays.

He indicated that the violations also included five spy planes flew over Hays, 11 violations with artillery shell, and 100 violations with various gunshots.

Al-Dabaiba follows up the work of the Civil Status, Passports and Nationality departments in Derna and neighboring municipalities

Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, followed up on the work progress of the emergency committees assigned by the Civil Status, Passports and Nationality Services in Derna and its neighboring municipalities.

This came during the meeting held by Al-Dabaiba, today, Sunday, in Tripoli, with the directors of the two departments, in the presence of the Minister of Local Government and Chairman of the Emergency and Rapid Response Committee, to discuss alleviating the suffering of the people and residents as a result of torrents and floods.

During the meeting, Al-Dabaiba stressed the need to facilitate procedures for all citizens and exempt them from any financial fees in exchange for obtaining any new document, with the need to adhere to professionalism to ensure that there are no breaches in personal data, in addition to paying attention to the conditions of living or dead foreigners and coordinating with their embassies to facilitate procedures related to them.

For his part, the Director of the Civil Status Authority presented a summary of the work of the committee charged with preparing documents to replace lost documents and issuing the necessary documents to those who lost their documents, noting that all documents in the Civil Status Office in the municipality of Derna were damaged as a result of torrents and floods, and documents in the civil registry in Qandoula, Al-Mukhaili and Ras Al-Hilal were partially damaged.

The Director of the Authority confirmed that the work of the teams in the east of the country is progressing at a rapid pace, taking into account the investigation and confirmation of the identity of the owners of the documents. For his part, the Director of the Passport Authority presented the Authority’s work plan to issue replacement passports and personal cards for the people of the affected areas who lost their documents, confirming that the work of the teams affiliated with the Authority in Disaster areas.
