UNHCR stresses its support for the health system in Libya.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Libya (UNHCR) expressed its support for the health system in Libya, by improving access and ensuring continuity of services in healthcare facilities that serve refugees, asylum-seekers, displaced persons, returnees, and the host community.

The UNHCR said in a tweet that the International Rescue Committee, the partner of the UNHCR, has provided more than 4,000 medical consultations at the UNHCR’s Community Day Centre so far this year, noting that the 24/7 hotline has received more than 500 calls and made more than 270 referrals.
