Washington, The US State Department’s regional spokeswoman, Geraldine Griffiths, said that the administration of President “Biden” pays attention to the necessity of holding elections in Libya and that the authorities agree on holding them, stressing that there is a popular consensus on holding the elections because they are an opportunity for the Libyan people to decide their fate.
The regional spokeswoman for the US State Department stressed, in press statements today, the necessity of holding the elections on time, noting that the US administration seeks to see Libya free of mercenaries and foreign forces, according to what she said.
