The French ambassador affirms his country’s support for the national reconciliation project

Tripoli- Today, Sunday, the representative of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, received the French ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Maharaj.

The meeting, which was held at the Presidential Council office in Tripoli, discussed ways to strengthen relations between Libya and France, and discussed the latest developments in the political scene in Libya.

The meeting reviewed the most important outcomes of the preparatory forum for national reconciliation held last week, where the French ambassador affirmed his country’s support for the national reconciliation project, and the important steps taken by the Presidential Council in this direction.

For his part, the representative of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, welcomed the role of France and its efforts to get out of the Libyan crisis, stressing the importance of consensus between all parties to the political process.
