His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today at the Presidential House, Executive Director of the Fund for Care and Rehabilitation of the Disabled, Dr. Ali Nasser Mughali.
During the meeting, President Al-Mashat listened to a brief explanation of the effects of the US-Saudi aggression and forbidden weapons on the increase in the proportion of the disabled in the Republic of Yemen, the increase in the number of brain disabilities and deformities of children during more than eight years of aggression.
President Al-Mashat indicated that the mines left behind by the aggression added a large segment of civilians to the disabled.
He stressed the need to take care of the injured and the disabled in general, especially who were injured on the fronts of pride, the sites of honor and heroism, and who deserve support with blood and not just money.
