Tripoli, The Government of National Unity has given permission to the Electricity Company to import 57 thousands utility poles and other equipment to maintain power plants as part of reconstruction plan for the south Tripoli region affected by recent wars.
The Government Spokesman Mohamed Hamouda told reporters after the 34th Cabinet regular meeting that the Cabinet has authorized the Electricity Company to hold contracts for heavy hauls of steam units at Al Zawiyah, Benghazi, Al Breiga and Ras Lanouf power plants, and importation and installment of 40 mobile generation units with a total capacity of 600 megawatts.
