Al Dbeiba: Patients Suffer And Hospitals Are Desperate As Result Of Lack Of Budget.

Tobruk, The Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba said patients were suffering and hospitals in dire need as a result of delay of approval of the general budget, appealing to the House of Representatives to live up to their responsibilities.

Briefing the House of Representatives in Tobruk , Al Dbeiba said the Government was committed to providing medical treatment to the public.

Al Dbeiba was answering a question from the House Healthcare Committee about the measures taken by the Government to end smuggling of subsidized drugs on the black market.

As for CoronaVirus vaccines, Al Dbeiba said we have promised to provide the vaccines, and the epidemic status in the country is by no means good, but it has not reached the serious level.

‘Next week we will have a meeting for all municipalities, and we will allocate amounts to them, Al Dbeiba said.

All Libyan ambassadors and Charge D’affairs have already ended their missions and new ambassadors will be named to replace Charge D’affairs, the Head of the Government told the House.

The Defence Ministry will see alterations and this subject has been discussed with Military Committee 5+5, he said.

The Government has set up committee for compensating those who suffered from drought and war, he said.
