Education officials, high-achieving students honoured

Outstanding administrative and teaching staff who contributed to the success of the school year have been honoured, along with high-achieving students.

Education Minister Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma patronized the ceremony, which was held in partnership with the Kuwait Finance House (KFH) -Bahrain.

The minister addressed the ceremony congratulating outstanding students, along with their parents, on their landmark achievements and success in their studies.

He expressed thanks to Kuwait Finance House (KFH) -Bahrain and its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Abdulhakim Al Khayyat on their keenness to honour high-achievers in the framework of the ministry’s partnership with the banking sector.

He highlighted students’ achievements during this school year, urging them to continue excelling in their academic studies and professional careers in order to contribute to Bahrain’s development and progress.

Al Khayyat also delivered a speech congratulating students and urging them to continue their brilliant achievements as they gear up for their academic studies.

He also expressed thanks and appreciation to Dr. Juma and all the ministry’s affiliates and personnel, hailing their dedicated efforts to serve the education system.

Dr. Juma then honoured the ministry’s officials in recognition of their contributions and role in ensuring the success of the school year.

Student Zeinab Ibrahim Abd Ali Al Muamen from Sitra Secondary Girls’ School spoke on behalf of the top-achievers, thanking the ministry, as well as Kuwait Finance House (KFH) -Bahrain for its initiative.

The Minister and KFH-Bahrain Managing Director and CEO then honoured 134 outstanding students and presented them with commemorative shields and gifts.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad patronises graduation ceremony

A batch of Royal Guard cadet officers graduated during a ceremony which was held today.

National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa patronized the event, in the presence of Royal Guard Special Force Commander Staff Colonel HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The graduation ceremony was also attended by Royal Guard Deputy Commander Major-General Hamad Khalifa Alnoaimi and other officers.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the devotion of the graduates to serve the nation, paying tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.

He praised the standard of the scientific and practical course, which can qualify the soldier towards the highest levels of efficiency and competence, commending the graduates’ military skills.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad thanked the instructors for their efforts to hone the graduates’ professional skills, urging the cadet officers to spare no efforts to serve the nation and defend the homeland.

The National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander then distributed gifts to high-achievers. The graduates then took their oath.

Information Minister urges comprehensive Arab media roadmap

Information Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Alnoaimi today participated in the 53rd regular session of the Arab Information Ministers Council, being held in Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco.

Addressing the session, the minister said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, backs all efforts to develop pan-Arab action, out of keenness on the importance of Arab solidarity to protect the security of the Arab countries and peoples.

He called for a comprehensive Arab media vision that meets contemporary requirements and keep abreast of media and communication strides, amid fast digitalization and booming artificial intelligence, in a way that supports the development of the media industry and enhances its influential role in supporting various Arab issues.

Dr. Alnoaimi stressed the importance of the topics on the council’s agenda, especially media support to the Palestinian issue and the updated Arab media strategy and executive plan, stressing the importance of drawing up a Arab media roadmap for sustainable development 2030.

He also underlined the importance of the environmental media, stressing the need for the media to focus on the pioneering efforts made by Arab countries in the fields of development and environmental conservation.

He said Bahrain’s hosting of the 2024 Arab Summit reflects the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by HM the King, to support pan-Arab action and solidarity to advocate Arab issues and confront current challenges.

He noted the decision of the council to declare Manama as the “2024 Arab Media Capital”, reflecting Bahrain’s prominent media and cultural standing, as well as the conditions that support creativity.

“The Kingdom of Bahrain will continue to unwavering work to enhance the media in a way that serves the causes of the Arab nation and bolsters joint Arab action in all sectors”, he said.

Dr. Alnoaimi commended the Kingdom of Morocco for hosting the meetings and providing all facilities, which reflects its commitment to support pan-Arab action.

The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the 54th session of the Arab Information Ministers’ Council in 2024.

Information Minister meets UAE Media Council Secretary-General

Information Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Alnoaimi today met UAE Media Council Secretary-General Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, on the sidelines of the 53rd regular session of the Arab Information Ministers’ Council in Rabat.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance media cooperation between the two countries.

Dr. Alnoaimi hailed solid and longstanding relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, hailing the UAE media professionalism and commitment to supporting Gulf and Arab issues.

He commended steadily-growing media cooperation that reflects solid ties, affirming Bahrain’s commitment to further expanding cooperation in the media field in particular.

The UAE official also lauded Bahrain’s steady media strides, looking forward to further expanding constructive and fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

Information Minister hails Bahrain-Morocco longstanding ties

Information Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Alnoaimi today met Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication Mohammed Mehdi Bensaid.

Bahrain’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Dean of Arab Diplomatic Corps, Khalid Salman Al-Musallam, attended the meeting which was held on the sidelines of the 53rd regular session of the Arab Information Ministers Council in Rabat.

During the meeting, Dr. Alnoaimi and the Moroccan minister discussed cooperation and ways to further bolster joint ties, focusing on the topics featuring on the council’s agenda.

Dr. Alnoaimi commending long-standing relations between the two countries, hailing the efforts made by the Moroccan Government to host the meetings of the Arab Information Ministers’ Council and Executive Bureau.

Bensaid hailed the pivotal played by the Kingdom of Bahrain in supporting pan-Arab action, through constructive visions and initiatives to enhance cooperation and achieve goals set out.
