Tripoli- Libya and Germany stressed the need to speed up the political process and preserve the outcomes of the Berlin Conference “1” and “2”, leading to parliamentary and presidential elections in accordance with an agreed constitutional framework.

This came during a phone call made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Najla Al-Manqoush” with the Special Envoy of the German Foreign Ministry to Libya, “Christian Bock”, which dealt with the latest developments in the political situation in Libya.

According to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Facebook, the two sides stressed the need to reject any measures, whether local or international, that would destabilize peace and stability in Libya.

For her part, Al-Manqoush expressed her appreciation for the German role in support of stability in Libya, and the support of the international position in support of the elections as the only solution to the Libyan crisis.

Al Kabir discusses with his Maltese counterpart prospects of cooperation in areas of banking, training and development

The meeting, which they held yesterday at the headquarters of the Maltese Central Bank, also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of training and development, and ways to exchange expertise between the two parties in the banking and financial fields, as well as follow-up on a number of issues of common interest.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Malta expressed his thanks to his Libyan counterpart, stressing that his country seeks to strengthen banking relations with Libya, considering that the banking sector represents the main tool to encourage investors.

During his meeting with Al-Manqoush: Shakshak calls for limiting the issuance of dispatching decisions for diplomatic work to more than job cadres

Tripoli – The head of the Audit Bureau, “Khaled Shakshak”, called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to adhere to the regulations and laws regulating political and diplomatic work and to limit the issuance of dispatch decisions in excess of the staffing approved by the ministry.

This came during his meeting today, Thursday, at the Bureau headquarters, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, “Najla Al-Manqush”, to review the Bureau’s observations on the ministry’s performance regarding the phenomenon of expansion in the issuance of dispatching decisions for diplomatic work and bypassing the staffing of embassies and diplomatic missions abroad.

Shakshak called for granting eligibility to employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the exclusion of other administrative units that are not competent to engage in political and diplomatic work in accordance with the legislation in force.

The meeting touched on some of the cases filed against the Libyan state abroad and the role of the ministry in the future in sparing the state the consequences of judicial rulings and the consequent additional financial burdens.

(LANA): The Chargé d’Affairs of the Libyan Embassy in Tunisia forms a committee to follow up on the affairs of Libyan patients in Tunisian clinics

Tunis- The Chargé d’Affairs of the Libyan Embassy in Tunis, “Mustafa Mohamed Qadara”, has formed a committee to follow up on the affairs of Libyan patients receiving treatment in Tunisian hospitals and clinics, and to monitor their treatment progress and health conditions.

The decision to form the committee, which includes in its membership – (legal and security attaches at the embassy, the security attaché at the Consulate General, and the deputy head of the health office) stipulated that its mission would be to visit all clinics contracted with the Libyan Ministry of Health, the Health Office in Tunisia and the Wounded Committee to treat patients at the expense of the Libyan state to stand their conditions, and whether their treatment is in accordance with the contracts, agreements and assignments concluded between them.

According to the decision, which the Libyan News Agency obtained a copy of, the committee will listen to the testimonies of some patients to follow up the debt payment process at the health office, and submit a detailed weekly report to the charge d’affaires on the results of its field visits to clinics and its meetings with patients.
