The 132nd Canton Fair to open online on October 15 featuring larger scale and upgraded services

GUANGZHOU, China, Sept. 30, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The 132nd China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, will open virtually on October 15, 2022. To better serve global buyers, the latest edition of Canton Fair will expand the scope of exhibitors, open for longer time and enrich online functions. Leveraging its updated online exhibition and services, the show will provide a platform of trade cooperation for global businesses in its 50 exhibition sections covering 16 product categories.

  • 35000 Exhibitors gathered online

The 132nd Canton Fair has enlarged the scale of the exhibition and included more quality exhibiting companies. In addition to the original 25,000 exhibitors, another 10,000 have applied for online exhibition. These companies gathered represent the best of China’s manufacturing, offering various choices for global buyers. The 13th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum Concludes in Macao with Aggregate Investment Value of US$15 billion Cooperation Agreements Signed

MACAO, Sept. 30, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The two-day 13th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (“IIICF”, “the Forum”), co-organized by China International Contractors Association and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, successfully concluded in Macao on September 29. Germany’s Special Envoy to Libya Christian Buck renews Germany’s readiness to support the Special Representative of UN Secretary-General in Libya Abdullah Batelli

New York-Germany’s Special Envoy to Libya, Christian Buck, on Friday renewed Germany’s readiness to support the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and the new head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Abdullah Batelli.

This came during a meeting between Bock and Batelli on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Batelli began his first official meetings with Libya’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations and Libya’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Al Taher Al-Sunni in New York, who welcomed him as the first African envoy to Libya.

Bathiliy at meeting in New York with Al Sunni: I look forward to meeting, cooperating and communicating with all Libyans in order to push for stability and get out of the current crisis

New York-UN Secretary-General new envoy to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathiliy confirmed that he looked forward to working soon from inside Libya and his keenness to meet and cooperate with all parties and listen and communicate with all Libyans in order to support stability and get the country out of the current crisis.

This came during Bathiliy’s meeting with Libya’s representative to the United Nations, Al Taher Al-Sunni, in New York, to discuss the latest developments in Libya, and the challenges facing the political process.

Al-Sunni said in a tweet: “I was pleased to meet with Bathiliy, the new envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Libya, and we welcomed the start of his mission as the first African envoy to Libya, and his keenness to be his first official meeting with the Libyan mission in New York. “During the meeting, we stressed the importance of the United Nations mission resuming its activities in Libya, to lend support to the Libyan leadership and ownership of the solution,” he added.

Abu Jannah discusses with UNICEF support for Libya

Tripoli-Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Health Ramadan Abu Jannah met in the capital Tripoli on Thursday with the representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Libya, Mikkeli Servadi, who took office about two months ago.

The Ministry of Health Communication Office reported that the two sides discussed support provided by UNICEF to Libya, and establishment of a mechanism for the support to be provided in 2023.

Abu Janah also discussed with the UNICEF representative the steps to treat patients with muscular dystrophy in Libya, and agreed to assign a medical team from Italy similar to the first team, stressing the need for coordination between the Italian Embassy and the international organization to facilitate all procedures for the medical evaluation team.

During the meeting, Abu Jannah stressed the need to coordinate with the Office of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Health in the types of support provided, provided that it is only done according to the need through the competent departments of the Ministry.
