Al-Manqoush meets with (Abu Al-Gheit) on the occasion of the 158th session of the League Council, headed by Libya

Cairo- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity, “Najla Al-Manqoush”, met today, Monday in Cairo, with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, on the occasion of the 158th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which will be held Tomorrow at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Cairo, headed by the State of Libya.

The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government is on an inspection tour of the maintenance and expansion project of Al-Nasr Street, and Boummashmash Roundabout , in the center of the capital, Tripoli

Tripoli- Today, the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdel Hamid Dabaiba, toured the maintenance and expansion project of Al-Nasr Street and Boummashmash Roundabout in the center of the capital, Tripoli, after completing maintenance and expansion works for the road.

Dabaiba was accompanied on this tour by the Minister of Transportation, Muhammad Al-Shoubi, the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Juma’a, the Mayor of Tripoli Municipality, Ibrahim Al-Khulaifi, and the head of the Public Services Company, Muhammad Ismail.

The Prime Minister praised the efforts made to complete this road, which will help alleviate traffic jams in the capital in recent years, stressing that there will be many expansion projects for a number of vital roads in various cities and regions.

It is noteworthy that the maintenance and expansion project of Al-Nasr Street is part of the projects of the return to life plan launched by the Prime Minister to revive development projects in the country.

Abdullah Al-Lafi follows up with Qatar Ambassador Arab and international efforts to end Libya’s political crisis

Tripoli, 5 September 2022 (Lana) – Member of Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, received, Monday, in Tripoli, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Libya, Khaled Al-Dosari, when developments of the political process in Libya were discussed.

During the meeting, they reviewed Arab and international efforts to end the political crisis, and ways to reach a date for holding the elections that the Libyan people aspire to.

Al-Lafi stressed the importance of continuing the peaceful path to overcome the political deadlock, and to coordinate efforts to complete consensus on the remaining points of contention on the constitutional path between the House of Representatives and the state, in order to reach an integrated road map for the solution.

In turn, Qatari ambassador praised efforts of Presidential Council in communicating with all political parties to end the Libyan crisis, praising what the Council has achieved in terms of national reconciliation.
