Cairo, 5 September 2022 (Lana) GNU Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Najla Al Mangoush met on Monday in Cairo the Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Abul Gheit, on the occasion of the 158th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which will be held tomorrow at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Cairo under the chairmanship of the State of Libya.

Benghazi, 5 September 2022 (Lana) Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ageela Saleh, denounced banning of members of the House of Representatives from traveling from Tripoli to Benghazi, to attend the official session that was scheduled to be held on Monday in the city.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives considered, in a statement, this act as a disruption of the work of the House of Representatives and to prevent it from exercising its duties to ensure stability in the country by reaching the presidential and parliamentary elections as soon as possible and meet the requirements of citizens, and a dangerous precedent that threatens the unity of the country and a crime of restricting the freedom of citizens, abuse of power and obstruction of the work of the legislative authority.
According to the statement, Ageela called on the Attorney General to investigate this incident, issue a statement of the results of the investigation and bring the accused to trial. He also called on members of the House of Representatives to attend the sessions to be announced in order to take decisive decisions by the majority of those present in the interest of the nation and the general public and in appreciation of the conditions of the deputies whose circumstances did not enable them to attend the meeting as approved in a previous ones.

Misrata 5 September 2022 (Lana) The mayor and members of Misruata Municipal Council ,discussed commercial and industrial cooperation with the Commercial Attaché of Embassy of the Netherlands.
According to the Communication office of the council ,this meeting came as a premise to hold visits to Misruata Al-Hurra free trade zone and the Libyan Iron and Steel Company ,in addition to Misrata Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss cooperation.

Tripoli, 5 September 2022(Lana) Director of the Office of Board Affairs at the National Oil Corporation “NOC”, Ahmed Al-Badri ,confirmed that the council decided to establish a branch of the corporation in Sabha.
Al-Badri informed in a letter ,published by the corporation’s SMS Page ,heads of the administrations committees of the companies ,centers ,institutes, bodies affiliated with the corporation of the decision.

Tripoli- The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) decided to cancel the production increase of one hundred thousand barrels per day for the month of September to keep production as it was last August, with the exception of Libya from canceling the increase that was agreed upon.
The announcement came during the participation of the Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, “Mohamed Aoun,” on Monday, in the thirty-second meeting of the oil and gas ministers of OPEC member countries and non-member countries via the zoom technology.
It was agreed at the meeting to cancel the production increase estimated at 100,000 barrels per day in September, so that production would remain as it was last August, with the exception of Libya from canceling the increase.

Washington, 5 September 2022 (Lana) The Head of the EU Mission to Libya, Jose Sabadell, welcomed the appointment of Abdullah Bathily as the Special Representative of Secretary-General and UN Envoy to Libya.
Ambassador Jose said in a tweet ,”we are looking for forward to working with the envoy at this crucial time, in order to achieve peace ,unity ,and prosperity for Libya.
