Asmio: No cases of the new mutant “Omicron” have been recorded in the country.

Tripoli, The Director of the Vaccination Department at the National Center for Disease Control, “Abdul Basset Asmio,” confirmed that no cases of the new mutant “Omicron” had been recorded in the country, noting that the demand for vaccination was moderate and at the same pace during the last period.

Asmio said in press statements that the center is awaiting the arrival of a shipment of the American vaccine “Pfizer” estimated at about one million doses within days, according to the promises. Abdullah Blihaq: The parliamentary committee charged with following up the electoral process has completed its work, and the matter is up to the Parliament.

Tripoli, The official spokesman for the House of Representatives, “Abdullah Blehaq,” confirmed that the parliamentary committee charged with following up the electoral process and communicating with the High National Elections Commission and the Supreme Judicial Council has completed its work and no longer has any tasks according to the completion of its final report in accordance with the decision of its establishment, specifically Article No. (3) of Parliament Resolution No. (11) of 2021.

Blehaq added, in a press statement that the matter to consider that report belongs to the House of Representatives assembled in the first official session determined by the Presidency of the Council.

UN Secretary-General’s Special Adviser on Libya visits Benghazi.

Benghazi, The Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General in Libya, Stephanie Williams, visited Benghazi Municipal Office on Saturday, where she met with the Head of the Municipal Council, Al Saqr Imran Bojowari in the presence of member of the municipal steering council, Radhia Al-Mazbal, Director of the municipal project office, Osama Al-Kaza, and Director of the Urban Observatory, Lamia Al-Gharyani.

According to a statement published by the Municipality Communication Office the meeting dealt with the latest developments in the electoral process, importance of supporting local government through municipalities, decentralization, national reconciliation and economic reform.
