Tripoli, The Director of the Vaccination Department at the National Center for Disease Control, “Abdul Basset Asmio,” confirmed that no cases of the new mutant “Omicron” had been recorded in the country, noting that the demand for vaccination was moderate and at the same pace during the last period.
Asmio said in press statements that the center is awaiting the arrival of a shipment of the American vaccine “Pfizer” estimated at about one million doses within days, according to the promises. He added that the vaccination centers continue to provide vaccinations with the Chinese vaccine “Sinopharma” and “Pfizer” intended for pregnant women.
