A special detachment of the “444th Combat Brigade” was able to arrest “Juma Al-Khaliqi” of the “Al-Kani” gang, who was involved in cases of murder and kidnapping.

Tripoli, A special detachment of the “444th Combat Brigade” managed to arrest one of the most wanted men in Tarhuna called “Juma Khalifa Al-Khaliqi” of the Kani gang involved in a number of kidnappings, murders and mass graves cases.

In a post on his official page, the brigade confirmed that “Al-Khaliqi” was arrested in the “Abu Salim” area in the city of Tripoli, in cooperation with the “Deterrence Service to Combat Terrorism and Organized Crime.”

Brigade 444 Combat indicated that the arrested person was hiding in one of the houses, and that he was wandering disguised under a forged identity card and driver’s license.

Ministry of Education reveals its revised and approved study plan for 2021-2022 school year.

Tripoli, Ministry of Education revealed the revised and approved study plan for the 2021-2022 school year, in which the study was approved for 3 days a week, at a rate of 40 minutes per class for all educational levels.

The Ministry decided – according to its revised plan, which it published on its official website – to specify six subjects for the first and second grades of basic education, seven subjects for the third grade, and eight subjects for the fourth and fifth grades of the same stage, with the exception of the Amazigh-speaking regions, where the Ministry added the Amazigh language to all grades except ninth grade.

Libyan Embassy in Cairo says it starts accepting applications by licensed Egyptian companies to for recruiting Egyptian workers to work in Libya.

Cairo, The Libyan Embassy in Cairo announced Thursday that it has started accepting applications by licensed Egyptian companies to recruit workers to work in Libya, as part of its keenness to organize employment contracting from the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as upgrading the provision of the best consular services to them.

The Embassy specified the documents required of these companies to submit , namely ( original certificate of practice of the company’s licensing profession, origin copy of valid commercial register, copy of the national number of the legal representative of the company, a biography of the company and a business precedent – avowal of compliance with the terms of contract and a detailed address of the company’s headquarters and branches – compliance with the terms of isolation, and precautionary procedures.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives in charge receives the Belgian ambassador.

Tripoli, The Speaker of the House of Representatives-designate, “Fawzi Al-Nuiri,” received, Wednesday, in his office at the headquarters of the House of Representatives in the capital, Tripoli, the Belgian ambassador to Libya, “Christophe Debasombere.”

During this meeting, Al-Nuiri and the Belgian ambassador exchanged views on several issues related to Libyan political affairs, the most important of which are the paths to support the electoral process and ways to overcome the difficulties that prevent the holding of elections.

They also discussed opportunities to strengthen relations between the two friendly countries and intensify cooperation in various fields.

The President of the Supreme Council of State and the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament discuss the latest developments on the electoral process in Libya.

Tripoli, The President of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, met today, Thursday, the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, Mustafa Shantop, on the sidelines of the sixteenth session of the Conference of the Union of Councils of Member States of the organization of Islamic Cooperation, in Istanbul, Turkey.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in all fields, in addition to discussing cooperation between the Supreme Council of State and the Turkish

Parliament, according to what was published by the Council’s media office on its official page.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments on the electoral process in Libya and the initiative put forward by the Supreme Council of State to solve the political impasse in the country.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the need to hold elections on sound legal and constitutional bases to reach the stage of stability that the Libyan people aspire to.
