SANY factory certified as the world’s first Lighthouse factory in heavy machinery industry

BEIJING, Nov. 11, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Recently, the Davos World Economic Forum (WEF) published the latest batch of “Lighthouse” factories in the global manufacturing industry. SANY’s drilling machinery factory in Beijing made the list, becoming the first certified Lighthouse factory among heavy equipment manufacturers.

Nicknamed “Lighthouses”, these production workshops are well known for being the most advanced factories in the world. Since the first list in 2018, two authorities, the Davos World Economic Forum (WEF) and McKinsey Consulting, have jointly selected 90 factories worldwide for lighting the path to the future, being examples of the highest level of digital manufacturing and Globalization 4.0.

According to the WEF, SANY Beijing stands out with the comprehensive application of up-to-date technologies such as advanced automation, human-machine collaboration, and AI and IoT technologies, boosting productivity by 185% while reducing production lead time by 77% (from 30 to 7 days).

‫إطلاق أول شبكة عابرة للحدود الوطنية للألواح الشمسية GGI-OSOWOG في غلازغو

Supreme Judicial Council issues a decision appointing electoral appeals committees and defining their tasks.

Tripoli, The Supreme Judicial Council issued a decision to appoint specialized committees to look into electoral appeals.

The SJC issued decision 142 / 2021, Wednesday, the Council specified the executive regulations for the mechanisms and tasks of the appeals and appeals committees. The regulation included 11 articles that clarify the functions of the committees to consider appeals submitted in the electoral process, and the procedures for adjudicating them.

Head of National Unity Government meets heads of general unions in higher education.

Tripoli, The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba met today, Thursday, at the University of Tripoli, the heads of general unions in higher education, presidents of universities, deans of colleges and university faculty members, in the presence of the Ministers of Higher Education and Finance, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Technical Education.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister announced that the Ministry of Finance had made a salary settlement for university faculty members, which included (14,614) thousand in various Libyan universities, with a total amount of (17 million and 522) thousand dinars, and these procedures have been suspended since 2016.

The Prime Minister also announced the allocation of a special card for the university students in which an amount of (500) dinars is deposited as a scholarship for the student, which will be raised with the improvement of the financial conditions of the country and the stability of its institutions.

The Prime Minister said that the University of Tripoli, which was once a target for shelling, is now safe and calm, and we are starting to feel comfortable and that raising the salaries of university faculty members is not a great job compared to what they do in preparing generations that contribute to building the state and its institutions.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister called for the return of students to the study halls and university faculty members to their colleges, stressing that the faculty members and teachers is one of the government’s priorities to improve their situation in particular.

Algerian News Agency: Algeria confirms its participation in the Paris conference “on Libya”

Algeria, The Algerian Foreign Minister, Ramtane Lamamra, confirmed on Wednesday his country’s participation in the Paris Conference on Libya, which will be held Friday.

The Algerian news agency quoted Lamamra as saying that “the circumstances are not appropriate for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to participate personally in this conference, despite his commitment to Algeria’s active role alongside the Libyan brothers, and to push the Libyan cause to the desired peaceful and democratic solution.”

Lamamra added in a press statement at the conclusion of the conference of heads of Algerian diplomatic missions and consulates in Algiers, “There is ongoing diplomatic work, and the desire of the Libyan brothers for Algeria to participate effectively in the Paris conference, and we are a few weeks away from the scheduled elections in Libya.”

Prime Minister accompanied by Minister of Local Government, and other Senior Officials make tour of several markets.

Tripoli, The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba, accompanied by the Minister of Local Government, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, the Director General of the Municipal Guard and a number of officials, toured a number of markets, food stores, bakeries, butchers and pharmacies in Tripoli to determine directly the prices Goods, merchandise and medicines related to the citizen and his purchasing power in light of the record increase in prices for some of them.

During the tour, the Prime Minister met with a number of citizens and inquired of them about prices in general, especially basic food staff, who expressed that there is no equivalence between real prices and selling prices in some materials.

The Council of Ministers of the Government of National Unity issued Resolution No. 537/ 2021 stipulating the exemption of imported food commodities from taxes and fees established in the customs tariff, in the context of encouraging import tools to increase their imports of food commodities, raising the level of strategic stocks and the necessary needs of the local market and covering the demand for goods.
