As a sovereign news institution: the Presidency of the House of Representatives issues a decision to include the Libyan News Agency in the House of Representatives.

Tobruk, The Office of the Presidency of the House of Representatives issued a decision transferring the affiliation of the Libyan News Agency to the House of Representatives.

The preamble to the Decision of the Office of the Presidency of the House of Representatives No. (2) of 2021 stated that as the Libyan News Agency is a sovereign, comprehensive and independent news institution, its mission is to publish the state’s news professionally, professionally and impartially and distribute it to various news agencies, channels, radios and local and international newspapers, and for reasons of public interest, the following decision was issued .

Article One: It includes the Libyan News Agency with its fixed and movable assets to the House of Representatives.

Article Two: This decision shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and every ruling that contradicts it shall be repealed, and each one in his jurisdiction shall implement it.

The Office of the Presidency of the House of Representatives also issued another resolution under No. (7) for the year 2021, approving the regulations for personnel affairs, the organizational structure, and the work regulations for the Libyan News Agency.

The work regulations and organizational structure of the Libyan News Agency include many articles that define the tasks and nature of work in the various branches, departments, departments and offices of the agency, and ensure the conduct of work in appropriate conditions and the rights and duties of its employees.

GNU Minister of Justice Discuss Judicial Cooperation with her Egyptian Counterpart.

Cairo, GNU Minister of Justice Halima Abdul Rahman has discussed with her Egyptian Counterpart the issue of Libyan prisoners in Egypt and possible moving them to Libya to complete their sentences there.

The two sides discussed, at a meeting they held in Cairo yesterday, judicial and legal cooperation, as well activation of the Joint Judicial Committee, which will be invited to meet as soon as possible, to discuss cooperation issues.

The Minister also discussed with her Egyptian Counterpart enhancing judicial exchange and considering of agreements between Egyptian Judicial Studies Centre and the High Judicial Institute.

The House of Representatives approves the law to elect the next House of Representatives.

Tobruk, The House of Representatives approved, during its session held today, Monday, the law to elect the next House of Representatives, according to what was announced by the Parliament’s spokesman, Abdullah Blihaq.

Blihaq said in a tweet via his Twitter account: “The adoption of the law on the election of the House of Representatives in today’s session, and thus the House will have completed the necessary legislation to organize the presidential and parliamentary elections.”

Earlier today, the parliament started its session headed by First Deputy Speaker Fawzi Al-Nuwairi, devoted to voting on Law No. (10) of 2021 regarding the election of the next House of Representatives.
