Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed with the US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski, the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Washington, and ways to enhance them.
The two sides also discussed, according to a statement by the ministry, the developments in the political situation in Iraq, the agreement concluded between the federal government and the regional government, the agreement concluded between the federal government and the French company Total, and discussions in Parliament about the budget law.
Regional developments were also discussed, especially the rapprochement and agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The American ambassador expressed her support for the agreements concluded by the Iraqi government, whether at the internal or external level.
