The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation reiterates the organization’s keenness to enhance security and stability in Libya and to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity

Jeddah- The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation “Hussein Ibrahim Taha” renewed the organization’s keenness to enhance security and stability in Libya and preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity, calling on all Libyan parties to the Libyan-Libyan dialogue.

During his meeting today in Jeddah with Libya’s representative in the organization, “Kamal Dahan”, Taha confirmed the organization’s readiness to cooperate with the General National Elections Commission in Libya through the administrative unit of the organization concerned in this regard, which has extensive experience in the field of elections.

During the meeting, Dahan conveyed the greetings of the President of the Presidential Council and the Prime Minister to the Secretary-General of the organization and the invitation of the Prime Minister to him to visit Libya.

The Secretary-General of the organization welcomed the invitation that was sent to him to visit Libya, stressing that he would respond to it and set a date for it.
