The Prime Minister meets the Board of Directors of the Telecom Holding Company and its subsidiaries

Tripoli- The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba” met this Sunday afternoon with the Board of Directors of the Telecommunication Holding Company and its subsidiaries, during his visit to the headquarters of the General Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Company, as part of his inspection tours of ministries and institutions.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated that the president of the general assembly held an expanded meeting that included the management committee of the holding company, and the heads of the management committees of the affiliated companies.

In his speech during the meeting, Al-Dabaiba stressed the need for competition to be open to all telecommunications companies, and to end the state of monopoly, and this has become an inevitable reality.

He also stressed the need to develop the sector in all fields, including postal addressing, and to contribute with the Libyan people to support the elections technically and financially so that it can achieve its campaign.

During the meeting, the President listened to some technical and administrative notes from company managers, and gave his instructions for the necessity of developing a purposeful plan to support the private sector in the field of telecommunications and to involve it in this field.
