The Minister of Economy and Trade inaugurates a center for electronic and financial services

Tripoli, Minister of Economy and Trade Mohammed Al-Hawij inaugurated today, Saturday, the Innovation Center for Electronic and Financial Services for coding cards and banking instruments, databases, information, qualification and training, in partnership with a number of local and international companies.

The opening of the center was attended by the Director General of the Economic and Social Development Council, representatives of commercial banks, a number of foreign diplomatic missions to Libya, and a group of businessmen, investors and interested parties.

In a speech on the occasion, the Minister of Economy commended the efforts of companies and national elements of administrators and engineers in charge of establishing the center, pointing out that this step supports the transition towards a knowledge economy with efficient national hands and the ability to lead the stage.

Al-Hawaij stressed that digital transformation and keeping pace with information development is the basis for establishing the modern state and eliminating administrative and financial corruption in the traditional administration.
