The meeting of Al-Mashri and the German ambassador revolves around the latest political developments and the elections.

The head of the High Council of State, “Khaled Al-Mashri,” met today, Tuesday, with the German ambassador to Libya, “Michael Unmacht,” at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli.

The media office of the Council stated that the meeting centered on the latest political developments in the region, with the Libyan elections to be held, expressing their support for the important step that was taken at the meeting of the two committees of the High Council of State and the House of Representatives (6 + 6) to develop electoral laws and legislation.

The ambassador indicated that his country supports all peaceful political solutions to resolve the crisis in Libya, with the importance of holding elections this year, which was agreed upon and approved in the thirteenth constitutional amendment.
