Tripoli,President of the High National Election Commission Imad Al-Sayeh discussed yesterday with the UN envoy to Libya Jan Kupis latest developments in the electoral process and the acceleration of the operational stages as December 24th date approached, and the international community attention to the progress made in this regard increases.
Kupis stressed at a meeting, held at the headquarters of the Commission in Tripoli attended by member of Commission council Abdul Hakim Al-Shaab, support of the international community through the United Nations, for the steps taken by the Commission towards the voting stage, and the commitment of the organization is to stand by Libyans to achieve their aspirations for the desired democratic state.
