The government appointed by Parliament requires foreign organizations working in the field of immigration to submit their accreditation documents to the state.


Benghazi: The Minister of State for Illegal Migration Affairs in the government appointed by Parliament, Fathi Al-Tabawi, called on all international and foreign organizations working in the field of immigration inside Libya to submit a copy of its files or evidence of its legal accreditation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the government appointed by the House of Representatives.

According to what was published by the government media office, Al-Tabawi stressed that these organizations must fulfill all their legal procedures before carrying out any activity inside the country.

The Minister called on the organizations to submit a report on their activities for the year 2023, containing all their projects, programs and work strategy for the year 2024, within 10 days from the date of writing.

Al-Tabawi confirmed that the work of some international organizations that do not adhere to these instructions will be suspended in order to preserve Libyan sovereignty and the supreme interest of the state
