The conclusion of the training program at the High Electoral Commission on evaluating polling stations.

Today, Tuesday, the High National Elections Commission concluded a training program via “Zoom” technology on evaluating polling stations, as part of preparations for the electoral process planned for this year.

The program, which is supervised by the Commission’s Systems Department and continues over a period of three days, targeted the operations coordinators and the awareness and communication coordinators of the 25 electoral management offices, on mechanisms for evaluating the polling centers registered with the Commission, and their readiness to receive persons with disabilities on polling day to ensure their readiness in accordance with recognized international standards.

The sessions witnessed many interventions on ways to support units of persons with disabilities in the offices of electoral administrations in setting up mechanisms for evaluation.

The conclusion of the program was attended by the official of the People’s Support Unit with Special Needs of the Commission, “Magda Al-Kateb”, the official of the People’s Support Unit in the Tripoli Electoral Administration Office, “Bassem Abu Hamida”, and “Wafaa Al-Shibani” from the Coordination Department.
