The Audit Bureau is looking into a mechanism for implementing the government’s proposal to pay the wife and children’s allowance for a full nine months.

The head of the Audit Bureau, “Khaled Shakshak”, discussed this afternoon with officials in the competent authorities the mechanism for implementing the government’s proposal to disburse the wife and children allowance for nine full months, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The meeting, which included officials of the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Libya, discussed the possibility of implementing the government’s proposal, which would contribute to alleviating the burden on Libyan families, and enabling them to face the high prices, according to what was published by the official page of the Audit Bureau.

The chief of the court appreciated this proposal, stressing the need to expedite its implementation, taking into account the division of the amount into two payments, provided that the period of disbursing the second batch does not exceed the middle of the month of Ramadan in a manner commensurate with the expenses and requirements of the blessed Eid al-Fitr.
