The arrival of the Libyan rescue team at Maitiga airport after the end of its search and rescue missions in Turkey

Tripoli– The Libyan rescue team arrived at Maitiga International Airport this evening, Monday, coming from Turkey, after completing its tasks in search and rescue operations and providing humanitarian assistance to those affected by the earthquake that struck several regions in southern Turkey.

The team was received at the time of its arrival by the Minister of Housing and Construction “Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi” and the Minister of Sports “Abdul Shafie Al-Jouifi” and the local government “Badr Al-Din Al-Toumi”, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General “Muhammad Al-Haddad”, and the Turkish ambassador to Libya “Kanaan Yilmaz” and the security advisor at the Libyan consulate in Istanbul and a number of officials of the Government of National Unity.

The rescue team had an official reception ceremony, and they were honored for the humanitarian efforts they made in the search and rescue work, which gave an honorable character to the Libyan state and had a humanitarian impact on the souls of the affected people.

It is noteworthy that the Libyan Rescue Team is composed of the Criminal Investigation Service, the National Safety Authority, and emergency medicine and support devices
