Tripoli, The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, “Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asumi”, expressed the Parliament’s permanent solidarity with the Libyan people; In order to achieve its hopes and ambitions for stability and development, and for the selection of its leaders and representatives, away from any external interference.
In a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Libya’s independence, Al-Soumi stressed the need for all foreign forces and mercenaries to leave Libyan territory as a basic guarantee for the stability of the situation in Libya, according to what was published on the parliament’s website.
Al-Asumi also expressed the Arab Parliament’s support for everything that would achieve the supreme interest of the State of Libya, activate the free will of its people, and preserve the unity and sovereignty of its lands, hoping that Libya would achieve further progress and prosperity.
