Situation in Libya will be discussed by Russian and US presidents on video, and is not yet known whether they will meet face-to-face.

Moscow, A senior Russian kremlin official announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S Counterpart Joe Biden will discuss, through video conferencing on Tuesday December 7, the situation in Libya, among other bilateral and pressing issues on the international agenda, including Afghanistan, Iran, the Ukraine domestic crisis and possibly Syria.

Russia’s TASS news agency reported in its English version on Sunday that Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Kremlin, told Russia-1 television that Moscow and Washington had not yet agreed to hold a face-to-face meeting between Russian President Putin and his US Counterpart Biden after their video call.

As whether a face-to-face meeting between the two leaders is expected after the video conference, Ushakov said: “There is no agreement yet”, according to Tass.
