Manama, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Shura Council Chairman, today chaired the second meeting of the second session of the sixth legislative term.
The council approved the minutes of the previous meeting. Then, it was informed about the letters addressed to it by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, regarding a number of issued decrees and decree-laws.
The session also approved the Reply to the Royal Speech Committee, chaired by Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, First Deputy Chairman.
It also elected Dr. Jameela Mohammed Redha Al Salman, Talal Al Mannai, Ali Hussain Al Shehabi and Ali Abdulla Al Aradi, as representatives of the Shura Council at the Executive Committee of the parliamentary delegation.
