HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani crowned Al Wajbah as champions of the 2023 Al Wajbah Ramadan Football Tournament after defeating Al Wukair 1-0 in the final match.
Hamad Al Marri scored the match-only goal to seal the victory for Al Wajbah.
Al Wajbah goalkeeper Masoud Zeraei won the Best Goalkeeper Award. Al Wukair player Khaled Al Hamar won the Tournament’s Top Scorer after scoring four goals. Al Wukair player Hamid Al Ahbabi won the Best Player of the Tournament award.
In the semi-finals, Al Wajbah defeated Al Rayyan 5-4 on penalties after the end of the original time in a 4-4 draw.
Al Wukair reached the final after defeating Merrikh 3-1.
