Saudi Boxing and Kicking Federation Concludes Its 2023 Sports Season

The Saudi Boxing and Kickboxing Federation celebrated the success of the Saudi Arabia’s first Kickboxing Championship competitions, and the conclusion of the 2023 indoor schedule, which was held at Al-Yamamah University in Riyadh.

The ceremony, which took place yesterday, included honoring the partners, the experts of the International Federation (WAKO), in addition to a number of distinguished players, coaches and referees in the sports season, which witnessed the participation of 160 male and female players, and nine referees to manage 80 fights for 37 categories.

The President of the Saudi Boxing and Kicking Federation Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Tawyan, stressed the federation’s keenness to play its role in serving boxing and kicking sports, and to achieve sustainable administrative excellence, ensuring the spread of the game locally, and successes in representing the Kingdom regionally and internationally in light of the comprehensive development witnessed by the sports system with the support and directives of the leadership and the follow-up of Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
