Sana’a governor: community initiatives are real support for achieving development renaissance

Sana’a governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi on Tuesday affirmed that self-society initiatives are a real support for the official side in achieving a development renaissance in various fields.

In a statement to Saba, al-Hadi indicated that the local authority bears a great responsibility and performs the tasks and responsibilities it can carry out while it is assigned to it from the official side towards those who undertake these initiatives.

He noted the role of the community in the districts in implementing many initiatives, indicating that this year they amounted to more than 135 initiatives in the field of roads, and 44 initiatives in the agricultural field, in addition to many initiatives in education, endowments, solidarity, community building, animal health, and public health.

Al-Hadi pointed out that there is a tendency for initiatives, in all fields, to be inexpensive and quickly reach the desired results, calling for complementary roles, solidarity and collaboration, and for everyone to do everything necessary in this historical period, drawing help from God Almighty.

He said “if we wait for what will come centrally or what we will supply in terms of revenues, the required thing will not be achieved at the time, especially when a deficit in revenues occurs.”

Al-Hadi added “when we set out to work with the society, which offered the elite of men as martyrs for the sake of God, we felt that the fruit of this blood is the society’s acquisition of will, patience and sacrifice.”

He pointed out that the will of the society that prevailed on the battle fronts is the will that implemented the initiatives and projects, in all fields and in all the districts of the province, which thwarted the aggression’s bets in destroying the infrastructure and eliminating any vital projects or development projects, stressing that the community of sacrifices deserves every Respect.

Al-Hadi also stressed that the authority’s team, executive offices and local councils, will be of assistance to the community and work together to study the priorities of everything that must be taken in order to overcome the effects of the aggression and the blockade.

He indicated that the local authority in the province has a vision to be a partnership among the cooperative societies at the level of each sector in the province with its implementing partner in the field, adding there is also a mechanism for building these associations in a way that contributes to supporting all aspects of development.
