Tripoli, 5 September, 2022 (Lana) – The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, received Monday in Tripoli, Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino.
Dabaiba stressed the importance of agreeing to unify the international position towards a clear roadmap that includes implementation of elections as the only way to maintain the country’s stability and unity, pointing out the need to issue the constitutional rule and create popular legitimacy, so that the electoral process would be built on a sound basis.
The meeting touched on following up of a number of economic and political files between the two countries, where the Prime Minister stressed the importance of the Libyan-Italian economic partnership.
