Tripoli, President of the Presidential Council Mohamed Al Mnefi met Sunday morning with Swiss Foreign Minister Eniatcio Cassis and members of his delegation, who arrived on a visit to Libya.
During this meeting, Al Mnefi praised role of Switzerland in stabilizing Libya, through the hosting of several UN-sponsored meetings between the Libyan parties, which produced the executive authority represented by the Presidential Council, and the Government of National Unity, which contributed to the stabilization, unification of state institutions, ceasefire, and the launch of the project of comprehensive national reconciliation.
On his part, the Foreign Minister of Switzerland reaffirmed his country’s continued support for the successful stabilization of Libya, the national reconciliation project and electoral entitlement to be held in December.
