Tripoli-President of the Presidential Council Mohamed Al Mnefi discussed on Wednesday with UN Secretary-General’s adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams political situation in Libya.
The meeting also discussed Williams’ initiative to form a committee from both the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to put in place a constitutional rule for holding elections as soon as possible, to contribute to consensual proposals to resolve the Libyan crisis.
Williams praised Al Mnefi’s efforts to support stability in Libya and stand at a distance from all, stressing that the Mission aim was to promote stability and hold the electoral entitlements.
