Addis Ababa- Member of Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi,has met with President of the Comoros Islands, President of the African Union, Ghazali Osmani, as part of a series of meetings and consultations he has conducted with heads of state on the sidelines of the African Summit.
Sources of the Presidency Council stated that President Ghazali expressed, during the meeting that took place yesterday, his readiness to support the work of the high-level African committee concerned with Libya, and the efforts of the Presidency Council on the path of reconciliation in order to achieve peace and stability in Libya.
The President of the Republic of the Comoros and the Chairman of the African Union affirmed that the African Union will harness its efforts to serve Libya and its people to ensure the success of the national reconciliation project.
During the meeting Abdullah Al-Lafi, congratulated President Ghazali for assuming the rotating presidency of the African Union, wishing him success in performing his duties.
