Tripoli, The Presidency Council congratulated Libyan youth across the country on the World Youth Day which falls on August 12, and for which the UN has chosen this year the theme ‘Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health”.
‘Rebuilding of the country will only be complete with hands and minds of its sons, the Council said in its congratulatory message.
‘We look forward to employing effort of human development in service of the youth, to unleash their potential to build better future for their homeland, and restore stability, and to ensure that they no longer be used as tools for armed confrontations, the Council said.
There is a need to stand firmly with the youth for a brighter future that they contribute to make, it added.
